The cottage was simply charming! I loved the stylish and cozy atmosphere, from the high-quality furnishings to the log stove to the luxury bathroom. It was perfect for a romantic getaway. Plus the location made it easy to explore nearby coastal and countryside attractions. The cottage was equipped with many modern facilities which included a programmable oven, which meant we could cook while out exploring and come back to a warm and hearty meal.
While the cottage was generally lovely, the hot water pressure was low making it difficult to fill up the roll-top bath. , the bed creaked loudly at every slight movement, which was quite a shame as the four-poster bed added an extra level of romance to the holiday.

This place was a great starting point for our city trip in Glanton, and the Newcastle airport wasn't too far away – we would definitely recommend it.

The cottage was beautifully decorated and cozy, with a charming wood burner as the focal point. The location was fantastic, perfect for exploring the nearby countryside and coastal areas.- The cottage had all the necessary amenities, including a well-equipped kitchen and wifi.
The shower in the cottage was not up to par. It often fluctuated between hot and cold and lacked strong water pressure.

I recently stayed at a wonderful cottage in the Northumberland countryside, ideal for a family getaway. The location was perfect, with plenty of opportunities for walks and wildlife sightings. The cottage itself was beautifully decorated, with a well-equipped kitchen and a cozy wood-burning fire. The roll-top bath provided a luxurious experience, and the comfortable beds ensured a great night's sleep.
That the bed in one of the cottages was quite squeaky, which could be a bit disruptive at night.
